Dense execution, rough surfaces and a merge of drawings and writings are part of what can be found when we stare at Melich´s work. His practice goes through pictorial and graphical as converging means of expression, and in almost 10 years of production, the young artist born in Rio de Janeiro concentrates on energetic and visceral figurative studies. Intuition and chance guide both his poetic approach and themes, establishing a channel between an inner look and a vision of the outside world.
